From Pre-Shoot to Post Production to Gala Screenings, at last here the Notting Hill Film Festival offers the oppertunity of a lifetime to not only work in all departments, but work with some of the very best of British Based Filmmakers creating work that will be screened around the world to audiences with your name attached.
You will work at the studio offices planning all shoots, working with crews to organise equipment to catering, producing hands on as a team and then on set working with and learning the best way possibleactually making films. There is nothing like the adrenelin rush from working on a movie, whether a feature or a short the moment the 1st AD calls turnover you will feel the hairs stand up on the back of your neck, an electric moment of joy and excitement and such a buzz of creativity working as well oiled team.
Twelve of the best up and coming Directors of Photography with work alongside Writer/Director and Festival Director Andy Isaac to create a series of short films that will make up this festival that will seen around the globe at many prestigious festivals and events that you can attend, be part of the buzz, be on stage to present your viewpoint on the film, the making of the film and even introduce your EPK docos you made during the making of the films.
You will not only assist the producers, but work in all departments alongside top professionals and learn whilst on set, but your video diaries will be screened as well and hosted on the festival website. They will also feature on the Bluray DVD's that will go on sale of the shorts raising money for charities we will associate the films with.
